Florida State League Premier Pitcher is Bartlett

This month when the Pompano Beach manager wrote the name "Bartlett" on the lineup card, he was confident that he would get a good start out of him. Outing after outing in June Robert Bartlett took command and usually got the win.

He dominated with a 4-0 mark and 0.70 ERA in 6 starts, piling up 38.1 innings and 32 strikeouts and holding opposing teams to a .135 average.

For his superb performance Bartlett was named the Florida State League Pitcher of the Month by the baseball writers.

This season, Bartlett has fanned 83 in 91 innings and collected a 10-3 record with a 2.47 ERA.
