League Gives Escoe Suspension

Orlando Escoe of Visalia got more than he bargained for when he was ejected for arguing a third strike call in yesterday's game against the Fresno Giants. It turns out that the ejection wasn't the end of it. Today, the league decided to suspend Escoe for 3 games for his actions which included a rant filled with inappropriate language and throwing equipment on the field once he returned to the dugout.

"Players need to show more restraint on the field," the league's announcement said. "Escoe obviously crossed the line and we had to take the proper action against him."

Escoe currently has a .262 batting average with 17 hits, 2 homers, 12 RBIs, 9 runs scored and a .368 OBP.
